Phase by phase

1. 1Phase 1

   4 screens away from the ball onto 2’s man at the left block. 2 comes up the outside of the screen and curls tight over the top of it into the lane.

   • 4 screens for 2
   • 2 cuts to the high post
2. 2Phase 2

   Ram: 2 keeps going and sets a down screen on 5’s man. 5 comes up off it and straight into a middle ball screen on the right side of 1’s man.

   • 2 screens for 5
   • 5 cuts to the right elbow
   • 5 screens for 1
3. 3Phase 3

   1 comes off the ball screen to the right and 5 rolls. 4 comes across the lane and sets the exit screen on 2’s man, who is trailing on the high side after the down screen, and 2 runs out to the strong-side corner. On the back side, 3 lifts out of the corner — his man is the one who should tag the roll.

   • 1 dribbles to the right elbow
   • 5 cuts to the rim
   • 4 screens for 2
   • 2 cuts to the right corner
   • 3 cuts to the left wing
4. 4Phase 4

   If 3’s man goes with the lift, 5 is open rolling. If help comes off 2, it is a corner three. Worst case, swing it to 3 on the lift and let him throw it inside to 5.
