Drive and Kick Spacing
Four players spaced around the arc learn where to go when a teammate drives. On a middle drive the slot drifts down into the passing lane; on a baseline drive the corner lifts. The driver kicks to the player who moved, and the passer refills the spot he left.

Coaching points
- Space before the drive: four spots, never two players within a few steps of each other.
- Middle drive: the slot drifts down; baseline drive: the corner lifts.
- Move into the driver's eyes and be ready to shoot on the catch.
- Driver: two feet in the paint, jump stop, then pass; the passer refills a spot.
Phase by phase
1Phase 1

- A dribbles
- C cuts to the left wing
- A passes to C
- A cuts to the right slot
2Phase 2
C attacks the closeout baseline. D lifts from the corner to the wing behind him, and C kicks back to D for the catch-and-shoot.
- C dribbles to the left dunker
- D cuts to the left wing
- C passes to D
- D shoots
Variations
- Add two passive defenders who help on the drive.
- Live 4-on-4 with a rule: every possession starts with a drive.
- Kick-out receiver may attack the closeout once more before shooting.
