1-4 Flat Clock-Down Pick
For the last shot of a quarter or a tie game: the handler walks the clock down alone at the top while the other four sit flat on the baseline, both corners and both dunker spots. With about seven seconds left the big sprints up and screens, and the handler turns the corner with the whole floor open. Every help defender has to leave a corner or the rim to stop him, and the shot goes up late enough that nobody gets another possession.

Phase by phase
1Phase 1
Hold it at the top, well outside the arc. Four flat on the baseline: nobody moves until the clock says so, so there is no help near the ball.

2Phase 2
At seven seconds 5 sprints up from the dunker spot and screens 1’s man on his right side. 1 comes off his shoulder tight and turns downhill toward the right elbow.

3Phase 3
5 rolls down the middle behind him. 1 goes all the way to the rim; if the corner man comes in to help, kick it to 3 in the corner, and if 4’s man steps up, drop it to 5.
