Horns Flare Slip
A Horns look that starts with a cross screen, then sends the weak-side shooter all the way across so one half of the floor is empty. The flare and the slip land in that space at the same moment, and the defence cannot cover both.

5 leaves the elbow and screens across the lane; 2 comes off it, opens up on the far block and takes the entry.

3 sprints the baseline out of the weak-side corner into the ball-side corner — that is the whole point, it removes a helper from where the flare is about to happen. 5 flashes back to the elbow for the second entry.

The elbow catch triggers the flare: 2 comes up and screens 1’s man, 1 fades to the right slot in the empty side and 4 lifts behind him as the outlet so the passing lane is clear. Under the screen, 1 shoots; trailed, he curls to the rim — and 5 slips the moment the pass leaves.
