Exchange Step Veer
A cheap handoff exchange and a reversal put everyone exactly where the coach wants them, then the big steps up into a ball screen and veers off it into an away screen. Against a big in drop the handler has a pull-up or a skip to the stretch big in the far corner; if they chase the veer, somebody is late.

1Phase 1
The stretch big 5 sits in the left corner and drags his man out of the paint. 1 swings it from the right slot to 2 at the top.

2Phase 2
The exchange: 2 dribbles at 3, 3 comes up off the wing and takes it on the move back toward the top, and 2 fills the wing 3 just left.

3Phase 3
3 reverses it straight back to 1. 4 steps up from the right block and screens 1’s man on the side of the empty floor; 1 turns the corner and comes downhill at the drop big.

- 1 dribbles to the right elbow
4Phase 4
The veer: instead of rolling, 4 turns and screens away for 3, who fades toward the left slot. Against a drop 1 has two outs — his own pull-up, or the skip to 5 in the far corner when 5’s man steps in to help. If they chase the veer, hit whoever they lose.
