Horns Spain
חסימה על הכדור ממערך Horns, עם קלע שמתגנב לצבע מאחוריה, חוסם מאחור את מגן המתגלגל ויוצא מעבר לקשת. מגן הגבוה נתקע בחסימה, וההגנה צריכה להתמודד יחד עם מסירה קשתית, גלגול לסל ויציאה החוצה.
פתיחה ביישוםנגנו, הטו את המגרש, הוסיפו הגנה ושנו את המהלך. מתחילים בחינם. ללא חשבון או התקנה.
שלב אחר שלב
1שלב 1
2 ממלא את הפינה ו-4 יוצא לכנף שמאל; 3 מתגנב לצבע מתחת לחסימה בזמן ש-5 חוסם את המגן של 1 ו-1 יוצא ימינה.

2שלב 2
3 חוסם מאחור את מגן הגבוה בזמן ש-5 מתגלגל, ואז יוצא ישר לראש הקשת מאחורי הכדור.

דגשי אימון
- Screen the top shoulder so 1 has to come off it middle, never sideways.
- 4 lifts to the empty slot on the first action so the weak-side help has somebody to watch.
- 3 waits until 5's man has turned to chase the roll before he screens him in the back.
- Pop straight out behind the ball, not along the arc, so the kick-back is a catch-and-shoot.
- Look at the roll first every time. The three is the second read.
Call this when you need a bucket out of a set and the other team has a rim protector who sits back. It puts that defender in a screen he never sees coming, at the exact moment he is turning to chase somebody else.
The order matters. 5 screens the ball at the top and 1 comes off it middle. Only once 5 is rolling and his man has turned does 3 step in behind and screen that defender. Then 3 pops out behind the ball.
The read
One pass, three answers. Throw it to the roll if the rim is open. If the big somehow recovers, 3 is behind the arc with his feet set and nobody within reach. If they switch the back screen, the lob is there and you should take it.
Three defenders now have four jobs between them, and none of them can be in two places.
Where it breaks
Almost always on timing. If 3 screens too early, 5’s man has not committed yet and simply steps around it. If 3 screens too late, the roll is already finished.
Teach it in two halves. Run the ball screen alone until 1 gets downhill middle every rep. Then add 3 and tell him one thing: do not move until you see the big’s back.
The other common miss is 1 picking up his dribble at the free-throw line. He has to stay live long enough for the back screen to happen behind him.
תגובות להגנה
- Against drop, the back screen is the whole play; the big cannot get back to the roller, so throw it early.
- Against a switch on the back screen, 5 has a smaller man behind him at the rim. Throw the lob before it settles.
- Against a blitz on the ball, the pop is the release valve, not the roll.
- If the low man tags the roller, the kick-back to 3 is already open.
