Take the Charge
The driver beats his defender. The help defender rotates across, gets there first with both feet set outside the restricted area and square to the driver, and takes the contact on the chest. Run it from a baseline drive and a middle drive.

Coaching points
- Be there first: both feet on the floor before the driver leaves the ground.
- Outside the restricted arc, chest square to the driver, never sliding into him.
- Arms in and crossed at the chest, chin tucked, take it on the chest.
- Sit down and roll back to absorb it, then get straight back up.

- X1 cuts to the right short corner

Variations
- Start at walking pace with soft contact until the fall is safe.
