Loose Ball Scramble
Two numbered teams wait on opposite sidelines. The coach puts the ball into the middle and calls a number; both players with that number race for it. Whoever gets it attacks the basket, the other defends, and play goes on until a score or a stop.

Coaching points
- First to the ball wins: sprint, get low and secure it with two hands.
- Lost the race? Turn straight into defense and get between ball and basket.
- Coach: put the ball a little toward one side so the two do not collide head on.
- Rotate the numbers so everyone gets called equally often.
