Two-Line Layups
The classic pre-game warm-up. A shooting line on the right and a rebounding line on the left: the shooter dribbles in for a right-hand layup, the rebounder catches it, passes to the next shooter, and both switch lines.

Coaching points
- Right side: last step with the left foot, right knee up, right hand finishes.
- Aim for the top corner of the square on the backboard, not the rim.
- Rebounders catch it before it bounces and make a crisp chest pass to the shooter.
- Keep the lines moving: next shooter goes as soon as he catches.
Phase by phase
1Phase 1

2Phase 2

- R1 cuts
- S1 cuts
- S2 dribbles to the right block
- S2 shoots

Variations
- Switch to the left side and finish with the left hand.
- Add a second ball in the shooting line once the rhythm is there.
- Count makes as a team: 20 in a row before you change sides.
