Four-Corner Pivot
Four lines on the corners of a square with a cone in the middle. The front player dribbles at the cone, jump stops short of it, pivots to face the next line in the agreed direction, passes and follows the pass to that line. The coach calls front or reverse pivots and changes the direction halfway.

Coaching points
- Small hop into the jump stop; both feet land together, knees bent.
- Everyone pivots and passes the same way, so nobody collides.
- Receiver: low stance, hands up as a target before the pass.
- Sprint after your pass to the back of the next line.
Phase by phase
1Phase 1
A1 dribbles at the cone, jump stops an arm's length short, reverse pivots to face B's line and passes. Then he follows his pass to the back of B's line; A2 steps up.
- A1 dribbles to the high post
- A1 passes to B1
- A1 cuts
- A2 cuts to the right short corner
2Phase 2
B1 the same: dribble, jump stop with a small hop, pivot to face C's line, pass, follow.
- B1 dribbles
- B1 passes to C1
- B1 cuts
- B2 cuts
3Phase 3
C1 to D's line. Stay low through the pivot; the pivot foot never leaves the floor.
- C1 dribbles
- C1 passes to D1
- C1 cuts to the left short corner
- C2 cuts
4Phase 4
D1 back to A's line and around again. On the coach's call, switch to front pivots, then reverse the direction.
- D1 dribbles to the high post
- D1 passes to A2
- D1 cuts to the right short corner
- D2 cuts to the left short corner
Variations
- All four lines go at once with four balls, on the whistle; timing is everything.
- Front pivots one round, reverse pivots the next, left foot then right foot.
- A defender stands at the cone and reaches for the ball during the pivot.
